We are visually trained and experienced in substrate industries, precisely in BGA, CSP, FC. PCB, FPCB and new invented substrates. Subcontractor / Inspection Hub
Wentel QID inspects all type of substrates with in-line machines and provide a full turn-key inspection support. We are trained to perform auto and manual inspection by using Auto Final Visual Inspection (AFVI) and Verify and Rework Station (VRS), Green Laser Marker, DI Water Rinsing Machine. We ensure of high quality and productivity with cost-effective services to meet customer satisfaction.

On-Site Sorting
Wentel QID allocates skilled inspectors to customer site to solve urgent quality discrepancy issues. By using portable microscopes, we promptly perform visual inspection and packing which comply with customer specifications.

Rework
Wentel QID operators are trained for soldering rework, burn-in and warpage sorting. We perform baking, repacking and measuring for electronic related products based on customer requirements.

Laser Cutting
Wentel QID performs CO2 laser cutting to film, lint cloth in accurate dimension and design which applies to cartridge products.

Manual Tests and Metal Parts Screening
Wentel QID is capable to perform manual test on electronic components and tooled screening jigs for metal parts screening.

Class 10k Cleanroom
Inspection carried out in 10k classification cleanroom with temperature and humidity controlled.

AFVI Machine
Made by Advanced Technology Inc (ATI) and build in with two sets of high speed 12K line scan CCD, two LED & Halogen lighting units for top & bottom inspection, complete BGA (PBGA/CSP) inspection software, image process hardware and standard optics & vision hardware components.

VRS Machine
Manufactured by Advanced Technology Inc (ATI), network connected with AFVI and build in with motorized lens system for verification camera and assisted by manual check under Olympus Micro-scope (40X).

Green Laser Marker
Manufactured by EO Technics Korea, performed green laser marking with visually-clear reject indication on both metallic and organic surface; also comes with top/bottom flipper, indexing head and loading/unloading robotic arms to eliminate handling issues.

Rinsing Machine
Using de-ionized and temperature-controlled water to get-rid of stagnant contaminants and properly dried-off with hot air purging at last chamber.

Inspection Apparatus
Low power inspection scope with magnification range of 6.7X to 45X with proper handhold jig to eliminate handling issue. Magnifier lamp with 3X magnification and ring light for macro view.

High Power Measurement Scope
Magnification from 50X to 500X for image capturing system and equipped with X-Y-Z measurement features is essential for micro view.

Baking Machine
Bake water-rinsed products under temperature control of 200degC max.

Dry Cabinet
For temporary product storage under a controlled environment.

Vacuum Packing Machine and Barcode Labelling
Finished products are vacuum packed according to customer requirements. Label is printed with barcode-readable format.

Warehouse and Storage
Customer inventory is properly stored and insured under Wentel ERP system for easy traceability and planning. Controlled ambient is reserved for critical and sensitive products.

Logistic
For on-time delivery and urgent shipments, Wentel stand-by forwarder for customer needs.
Process 1 - Receiving
Receiving of products are properly carried out in controlled environment and preventing any quantity discrepancy with shipping documents verification. Lot details are then transfer to lot traveller and stored for inspection endorsement. IQA is essential to check on the product quality and any discrepancy will be triggered to customers.

Process 2 - AFVI & VRS
All products subjects for 100% AFVI (Auto Final Visual Inspection) and VRS (Verify and Rework Station) for a precise screening and rejected units are scribed as a reject indication (for Laser Marker identification).

Process 3 - Manual Inspection
Manual inspection is 100% carried by trained and qualified inspectors for any escapee during AFVI. Low power microscope with 45X magnification and magnifier lamp is used for checking purpose.

Process 4 - Green Laser Marker
Reject-indicated products forward for green laser marking upon customer specified location and patterns. Green laser layouts a visible and clearer reject indication for machine identification during IC assembly. In-process QA is checking for inspection quality and any fall-outs will alarm relevant personnel and containment action is obligatory.

Process 5 - DI Water Rinsing
Every inspected products are sent for DI water rinsing to get rid of contaminants and loose particle. Products undergo hot water flushing and dried out with hot air purging at the last chamber.

Process 6 - Dry Baking
Only selected products are further baked according to customer requirement.

Process 7 - QA Gate
QA performs sampling check based on AQL and customer specifications. Any discrepancy will trigger relevant personnel and immediate action is mandatory. Root cause is then identified and followed by corrective action.

Process 8 - Packing
All inspected products are packed and vacuum sealed in moisture barrier bag with HIC and desiccant in a controlled temperature and humidity level. Label is examined and verified before pasted to bundles and carton boxes (which are carried out at uncontrolled environment). OQA is needed to verified the packing condition before shipment.

Process 9 - Shipping
Proper shipping document is done according to customer requirements and on-time delivery is compulsory.
